Travis Threats, professor and chair of the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at Saint Louis University, will serve as Co-Principal Investigator for a study of functional health problems of veterans who sustained traumatic brain injuries during the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. The Department of Defense provided a $1.5 million grant for the study using the World Health Organization’s International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health.
