Valerie Daniels-Carter, a Lincoln University alumna and nationally known restaurant entrepreneur, will deliver the keynote address at Lincoln University’s Founder’s Day celebration.
The event is scheduled for 11 a.m. Jan. 15, in the Robert and Charlene Mitchell Auditorium at the Richardson Fine Arts Center in Jefferson City.
Daniels-Carter is president and CEO of V&J Holdings, the largest female-owned restaurant franchise organization in the country. Its portfolio includes brands such as Auntie Anne’s, Burger King, Captain D’s, Cinnabon and Pizza Hut.
A 1978 Lincoln graduate, Daniels-Carter later received an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree from the university in 2016.
