Wayne R. Luster has been promoted to the position of Battalion Chief of the St. Louis Fire Department from the position of Captain. He is assigned to the 2nd Battalion which include downtown St. Louis. He is responsible for the efficiency, morale and equalization of the manpower within the battalion, along with the safety of the citizens and visitors to the City of St. Louis.Â
