Yolanda West was recently elected to the St. Louis Council on Child Abuse and Neglect (CoCAN) Board of Directors. West is a program coordinator at Saint Louis Crisis Nursery Centene Center. CoCAN promotes advocacy, education and legislative action in order to improve the lives of children at-risk of abuse and neglect. Saint Louis Crisis Nursery provides respite care for children, birth through age 12, who are at-risk of abuse and neglect.
