The Gomez Performance Index has rated Regions Financial Corporation as the top performing online banking site of the country’s most popular banking sites.
With response times that are three seconds faster than the benchmark average, the Regions online banking site at www.regions.com is rated No.1 in transaction performance. The RegionsNet average response time is 4.53, a full second faster than the second-rated site at 5.58 and ahead of the benchmark average of 8.57.
Regions was added to the Gomez Performance Index, which bases eligibility on deposit size, on Jan. 1, 2006, following the completion of its integration with Union Planters Bank.
Regions President of Alternative Delivery Michael F. Jackson said, “Regions understands how important online banking is to our customers, and we work very hard to keep our system performance at a level that meets our customers’ expectations.”
Gomez Performance Indices (GPIs) measure website speed and availability at the largest and most visited online institutions. GPIs provide a real-world view of two important components – transaction speed and system availability.
