CBS News Weekend anchor Russ Mitchell will discuss what we see on television and what those decisions are based upon during a Women’s Voices Raised for Social Justice event at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 14 at the First Unitarian Church, 5007 Waterman.
Mitchell, a native St. Louisan, will give insight into the roles played by anchors, editors, producers and sponsors.
American City Editor Alvin A. Reid will introduce Mitchell and will also take part in a question-and-answer session after Mitchell’s remarks.
