Do your have dreams of owning your own home? Home Ownership Made Easier can help make that dream a reality. HOME is a program that helps individuals work through the process of becoming homeowners.
By attending a free conference from 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, August 19 at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 1444 South Compton, you can sign up for a 10-week workshop. Participants that attend the workshop will gain guidance on topics ranging from financing, the mortgage process, budgeting and preparing for the closing.
This workshop is being held in cooperation with Congressman Wm. Lacy Clay, FannieMae, CitiMortgage, New Day Realty and the Congressional Black Caucus’ With Ownership Wealth (WOW) initiative. HOME is part of a national effort to increase home ownership in targeted populations and is made possible by support of the Congressional Black Caucus.
