St. Louis Public Schools will hold its Back-to-School Festival from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, August 9 at the Gateway Complex, 1200 N. Jefferson Ave. The first day of school is August 18.
At the festival, free school supplies will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Many local agencies and school district offices will be on hand, providing services, including school registration, transportation information, free haircuts, children’s activities, door prizes, health referrals, entertainment and refreshments
The district’s ESOL division will offer support for non-English speaking families. Brown Shoe sponsors the SLPS Back-to-School Festival. For more information, call 314-345-2367.
