Roslyn M. Brock, Vice Chair, NAACP National Board of Directors will serve as Team Leader for the Health/ Medicine/ Science discussion panel during the Young Leaders Forum sponsored by the National Committee on United States-China Relations held in Beijing through October 28.

The Committee is a non-partisan, non-profit organization established in 1966 to create a stimulating dialogue between American and Chinese citizens to enhance mutual understanding and improve relations to strengthen the United States foreign policy.

Jan Berris, Vice President, National Committee on United States-China Relations, said, “Roslyn Brock is an interesting, articulate and terrific person who has provided thoughtful insight into this program. We are pleased Roslyn will be a Team Leader for the Young Leaders Forum, now in its fourth year.”

Participants are chosen from a select group of acclaimed American and Chinese young professionals, 40 years or younger and comprised of government officials, accomplished authors, university leaders, successful entrepreneurs, and world-renowned musicians and artists.

Roslyn M. Brock said, “The Young Leaders Forum provides an opportunity for American and Chinese professionals to explore issues and develop enduring friendships in a casual and intimate environment. I am honored to share this experience with a diverse group of young influential leaders who understand international relations as a viable way to improve global interests.”

The Committee focuses on educational and policy programs on international relations, economic development and management, governance, legal affairs, and transnational issues such as environment and public health, addressing these issues with respect to the People’s Republic of China, Hong Kong SAR and Taiwan.

Founded in 1909, the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People is the nation’s oldest and largest civil rights organization. Its half-million adult and youth members throughout the United States and the world are the premier advocates for civil rights in their communities and monitor equal opportunity in the public and private sectors.
