Five teachers within the School District of University City received grants of up to $1,000 from the University City Education Foundation (UCEF).
The UCEF grant program is not designed to supplement general operating funds or programs normally funded by the district. Its goal is to assist teachers or other staff to engage in special classroom projects.
The spring cycle grant recipients are Pat Oligschlaeger, Flynn Park Elementary School; Dominic Geinosky Pioter, University City High School; Ruth Marie Banks, Pershing Elementary School, Mary Williams, University City High School and Chris Kwiatkowski, Brittany Woods Middle School.
