On Sunday, Feb. 12 from 2 to 4 p.m. the University of Missouri-St. Louis will hoast College Goal Sunday, a financial aid workshop, in Century Room A at the Millennium Student Center on the UMSL campus.
The workshop is free and open to the public.
College Goal Sunday aims to help students understand how to fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid to determine eligibility for student grants, loans, scholarships and student employment for tuition and school expenses.
Fall semester financial aid can be determined as early as March 1, and it’ s advised to file as soon as possible.
Volunteers and financial aid experts will be on hand to help with the completion and filing of the application. The application must be submitted by April 1 for the 2006-07 academic year.
