SBC Communications and the National Urban League recently awarded the Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis a $70,000 grant to provide low-income citizens an opportunity to become competitive in career skill.
The Urban League will certify 60 clients in A+ computer programming language, giving them the opportunity to obtain a career in the IT field. Classes will be offered at League offices in St. Louis City, St. Louis County and St. Clair County, Illinois.
