I dropped by Steve Fitzpatrick Smith’s new joint last Monday on South Kingshiway and walked into a heck of a good time. I ran into poet extraordinaire and American culture critic K. Curtis Lyle and shutterbug and artist Andrea Day, KHDX/Schlafly’s Brett Underwood and East/West Gateway’s DJ Wilson, our former newsroom mate. DJ was handing out drinks. Oh, you all have to check out their specialty cocktails. Many of them are named for different local wards, politicians and neighborhoods.
