Hosted by St. Louis’ own Nelly along with actress Lauren London, and executive produced this year by Diddy, the 2008 Rip The Runway is said to be the most exciting to date. The show will air tonight at 9 p.m. on BET.
This year, BET featured the newest designs from fashion lines such as Sean John, Apple Bottom, Amaya Swimwear, Respect M.E., Zac Posen, and more. Even Snoop Dogg got his fashion on, when he debuted his line as well as that of his wife.
Celebrity models slated to strut down the runway include Toccara, Charli Baltimore, 106 & Park’s Terrence J. and Rocsi, America’s Next Top Model winner Jaslene Gonzalez, The Wire’s Lil Snoop, host Lauren London and more.
Once again, the event featured plus-sized models featuring designs by Qrystil – another St. Louis native.
The show also features performances by Flo Rida, T-Pain, Missy Elliott N.E.R.D., Webbie, Trey Songz, and Snoop Dogg. Be sure to tune in Tuesday, March 4 at 9 p.m. on BET.
