(BlackNews.com) — After three conferences in Atlanta, GA, Brooklyn, NY & Cleveland, OH, Beauty Supply Institute makes St. Louis the final stop for the conference empowerment tour. Beauty Supply Institute is returning to St. Louis on November 13, 2010, one year after the week long Nationwide Boycott of Non-Black Owned Beauty Supply Stores, which kicked off here on November 16, 2009.

The conference objective is to help blacks who have been discriminated against to open stores.

According to the Founder and President of Beauty Supply Institute, Professor Devin Robinson, “The beauty industry has largely benefited from Black dollars but prospective owners have been shunted by lack of know-how with regard to obtaining products for a store, we work diligently to bring information that is difficult to obtain.” He also added, “The beauty supply industry continues to be a growing sector in the retail industry. Blacks have been hit the hardest in this weak economy. Over 96% of this industry’s consumers are Black but less than 3% of Blacks own any of the Beauty Supply Stores. This conference will work to empower and encourage more Blacks to benefit from this wealth-building opportunity.”

This conference aims to bring relief to the doubly unemployed rate in the Black community at large. Conference attendees will get 6 classes during the course of one day. Lunch will be provided. St. Louis will be the last conference for the year and last one scheduled for the tour!

To date, over 2,000 students have received training at the Beauty Supply Institute.

The conference will be held at the Marriott (Airport) 10700 Pear Tree Lane, St. Louis, Missouri.
