According to several sources, British singer Amy Winehouse has been found dead today (Sat., Jul. 23) at her home in north London.
Sky News reported on Saturday that Police said they had found the body of a 27-year-old woman at a flat in Camden Square, north London, after being called by ambulance services.
They said they were treating the death as unexplained.
Winehouse was an English singer-songwriter, known for her powerful contralto vocals and her eclectic mix of various musical genres including R&B, soul and jazz. She received extensive publicity over her substance abuse and mental health issues.
