Beautiful Forest Park and its resident museums will become the site for a feast of African music, cultural demonstrations, artifacts, carvings, textiles, clothing, jewelry, film and family fun from Friday, May 27 through Monday, May 30.
It kicks off that Friday with the Bathiki Kumalo Band from South Africa performing live at the Saint Louis Art Museum in an event co-sponsored by the U.S.-Africa Sister Cities Conference also in town May 25-28.
