I have to give props to all the young folks who showed up to caricature artist C’BABI (Creative Black Artist Battling Ignorance) BAYOC’s (Blessed African Youth of Creativity) new exhibit, “Our Family Portrait.” Good to know that some young folks have more than clubbing on the brain. The exhibit is off the canvas. Boyfriend is known for his caricatures of musicians, but this go ‘round he knocked up family. C’BABI should know the best way to render family, he and wife Reine are model heads of a model family. Word is C’BABI’s didn’t think he could knock off an exhibit of joints in a month, but Reine thought so and gave him creative time to get done. He ended up having more than enough. Props too to Robert Powell for calling on C’BABI and dubbing him St. Louis’ number one artist.
