Okay, so by now most of y’all know that the lovely Sharon Reed is leaving her anchor spot at KMOV-TV for Atlanta. I used to catch myself hating when the folks got to basking in her bosomy beauty, but she is actually at least as gorgeous on the inside as she on the outside and deserves all the success that comes her way. And the fact that she was able to win us over when y’all know how we feel about unfamiliar folks trying to feed us news is a reflection of her talent. When I saw how she handled the Ferguson coverage on the nights when things got hectic I knew that somebody was gonna scoop her up from us – and I was right. I wish her the absolute best. Since I’m wishing people in the news the best, I’m sure Sharon won’t mind me telling folks to make sure they stay tuned to KMOV for Brittany Noble-Jones, who made a huge splash during Ferguson and was named the National Association of Black Journalists’ “Emerging Journalist of the Year.”
