Eric Benet’s upcoming CD “Hurricane” will finally hit shore on June 21.
He writes in a note with advance copies: “The premise of this album is wrapped up in its title. It’s about how everything I knew and loved was leveled and how something real and positive and beautiful emerged from the rubble. It’s a chronicle of my life through the last several years and my coming out the other side.”
He and Halle Berry divorced during that time period, and she pegged Benet as a constant womanizer.
In a twist of irony, Benet’s record will be released three days after Fathers’ Day.
