WTAE TV in Pittsburgh reports that gunfire in the Loews Waterfront movie theater during a showing of 50 Cent’s big-screen debut Get Rich Or Die Tryin’ killed a man, West Homestead police said. The West Homestead police chief said the department put an officer on duty at the theater, which is unusual for a weeknight, because the film premiered on a Wednesday. The officer did hear the shots and soon saw the victim, identified as 30-year-old Shelton Flowers, before he collapsed. Until the investigation is complete, the film has been pulled.
