is dead at 75.

was found dead in his Sherman Oaks, CA home this morning. Law

enforcement sources reportedly told TMZ that his death was caused

by a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.

Law

enforcement sources also told the celebrity news and gossip site

that one of Cornelius’ two sons made the call around 4 a.m. – and

paramedics were immediately dispatched to Cornelius’ Sherman Oaks

home in an effort to save his life.

He was transported to a nearby hospital — where he was later

pronounced dead.
