Sara Rivers, a former singer for Sean “Diddy” Combs “Making The Band 2,” has filed a new lawsuit against the embattled mogul. The allegations stem from her time on the popular MTV series.
In a lawsuit, obtained by TMZ Hip Hop, Rivers claims the artist formerly known as Puff Daddy subjected her to mistreatment, which wound up becoming content for MTV viewers.
The suit, filed by attorney Ariel Mitchell on behalf of Rivers, cites the infamous “cheesecake” incident from “Making The Band 2,” where she and the rest of Da Band had to walk several blocks to get Diddy a slice of Junior’s Cheesecake as one of the numerous incidents of abuse.
She also complains of being forced to sleep in an open bay with four other males despite the fact she was married at the time, and says she was threatened with being ousted if she didn’t comply.
The suit also names MTV, Viacom and several ex-Bad Boy employees who had a profile on the series at the time … including Diddy’s mother, Janice Combs, and ex-assistant Fonzworth Bentley.
She also alleges Diddy acted maliciously and recklessly with her career by publicly dismantling the group while pocketing most of her show money – and accuses him of sexual misconduct.
I don’t want to be insensitive, but I find myself thinking why now. If all these things are true why now. I was a big making the band fan and follow their stories long after the show stopped. No woman, man, or child body should ever be violated or forced to do anything they don’t want to do. Of course I would never victim shame however we must look over everything when someone is being accused. I think there are true victims. I also believe there are people that just didn’t want to walk away from the opportunities, glitz and glamor that came with being connected to Diddy and complied.

Who was being “forced” to do ANYTHING? Nobody. This golddigger could have walked the moment she felt disrespected. These people are so brazen with these meritless lawsuits. I’m not defending, him – I hope he gets put away for life – but this is just a cash grab. She knew exactly who he was and his reputation when signed up – and stayed.
The only credible allegations against Diddy are Cassie’s allegations. EVERYTHING after is planted, paid informants, false narratives for clicks and reality TV. This is ridiculous. 18 months of nonstop coverage!!!
I never cared for Diddy I watch that show and I said it’s something about him I didn’t like in other words I saw right through him his mom oh my goodness she was pushing her weight around every thing I thought of him came to light
I think why now is obvious. If you’ve read anything about diddy, he was not only controlling and powerful, but downright scary. People didn’t have the power themselves to go against him at the time, but now because of the outing of his real character and everything he’s allegedly done, it’s easier now as it’s always easier in groups to go against the powerful. Please don’t judge until you’ve walk a mile in their shoes.

This woman will work with these famous people show no signs of anything live well and never say one word about anything . One woman comes forward others follow suit. They say they where scared yet they continue to work with the abuser and join in on parties and get together with them. Just my opinion if been me I would have distanced myself from that person. Also would have told someone. Waiting 20 and 30 years down the line to speak out if they truly are abuser’s you are just as guilty you allowed this person to continue to abuse other’s and kept your mouth shut. Just because the abuse stopped with you don’t mean it’s okay to let someone else get the wrath of the abuser. Speak up not 20 years later and multiple victims suffer . Be the one who speaks out and stops them before they get more victims.

You obviously don’t know who Diddy really was. He has been known to have people hurt.. lol. Do your research. Everyone was completely scared of this guy because of how much Power he had, he had connections within the music industry and outside of the music industry. Now since he’s locked up, people are coming out now, hints because they were scared.

I think all these people with the petty bullshit lawsuits and obvious cash grabs are gonna ruin it for the ones that have legitimate cases and deserve justice. Turning this into a circus is ruining the severity and seriousness of the case.
You guys saying that she want money and is too sudden with the case are all wrong. When it was over with Making Da Band, it was Sara Stokes who informed Freddie P way back then that TENS of millions of dollars were pocketed by Sean Combs off the group. This was a matter BACK THEN. It was also made known that Sean Combs mother gets the royalties off of their group. Freddie P made this statement in a video.
The lawsuit is new but Sara Stokes and Virginia Huynh made complaints WAY BEFORE CASSIE DID. Cassie case only was made into a media blast because she looks 🇲🇽🌮 🌯 🍺.
