Foxy Brown, 25, has turned down an offer from prosecutors that would’ve kept her out of jail on charges that she punched and kicked two nail salon workers in August following a payment dispute.
Under the deal, Brown, whose real name is Inga Marchand, would’ve pleaded guilty to assault, attempted assault and harassment, with the absence of any probation or conditions. However, Foxy’s lawyer, Joseph Tacopina, said Brown wasn’t interested in any resolution that involved her admitting to a crime.
Prosecutors say Foxy went wild after she was asked to pay for a manicure that she never received. She allegedly hit Myoung Yi repeatedly about the body and face with a cell phone in her closed fist and also kicked her. They say she hit a manager, Sun Ji Song, causing “bruising and swelling to the face, as well as substantial pain.”
