In an interview with ESSENCE Magazine, Iyanla Vanzant admits DMX is the one client she’s failed
“I never second guess myself because I’m not committed to the outcome. I can’t want more for them than they want for themselves,” Vanzant said. “I failed one guest. I failed DMX because I was guided and directed by the Holy Spirit to do something and I didn’t do it. And I don’t know had I done it, how the show would’ve turned out. But that was my failure and I have never done that again. What the Holy Spirit tells me to do, I do – much to the horrification of my producers.”
