STL rap star J-Kwon claims to have paid a pretty penny for child support and even spent time in jail because of owed back pay for a child he is now saying is not his.
On a recent interview with KMOJ 89.9 FM, the rapper even blames his hiatus from hip-hop on the drama surrounding a child he believed was his.
“While I’m on tour she’s taking paperwork and disposing documents. I’ve been trying seven years and they finally gave me the test this month,” J-Kwon said.
“The test came back in 24 hours and I am not the father. I’m just happy to have my life back. That had stopped me from going overseas and generating income,” said J-Kwon, who gained international success with his hit song ‘Tipsy.’
“And they put me in jail and everything. I blame my absence in the game on this situation. I basically been paying a Bentley car payment – $2500 a month – for seven whole years. I’m gonna start a foundation just for that because that’s crazy that the law helps someone scheme you for this long.”
