R&B singer Nivea and rapper Lil Wayne celebrated the birth of their son Monday evening (November 30).
The child, reportedly named Neal, is the second son to be born to Lil Wayne in 2009. The rapper also welcomed a son in September, with actress Lauren London.
Inaccurate reports surfaced last week that Nivea had given birth to the baby boy.
Young Money President Mack Maine expressed joy at Neal’s birth in a series of Tweets from the hospital.
“Thank God,” Mack Maine Tweeted. “Baby Neal was born healthy to Nivea Nash and Dwayne Carter!!!! Thanx 4 all the blessings n support!!!! Love ya heard me!!”
The child is Lil Wayne’s third son and fourth child in total. He also has a ten-year old daughter named Reginae, with reality star Toya Carter of BET’s Tiny & Toya.
