Mary J. Blige will grace the big screen as a co-star in Tyler Perry’s next film, “I Can Do Bad All By Myself,” due in theaters on Sept. 11.
Blige joins Oscar-nominated actress Taraji P. Henson and will play a nightclub manager and singer who is good friends with Henson’s character.
The Lionsgate film, adapted from Perry’s stage play, is currently shooting at his Atlanta Studios.
