Film star Burt Reynolds, who did the Lou recently for the premier of The Longest Yard, has declined numerous offers to star in his own reality series, saying, “I don’t want to be the next Bobby Brown. That show is really depressing.”

TV heads seem not to agree with the aging hunk. Due to its surprising initial success, Bravo has added two additional episodes of Being Bobby Brown to its schedule. The new episodes will air in its regular 9 p.m. CT Thursday timeslot.

“The first eight episodes of Being Bobby Brown have kept Bravo viewers buzzing and have even helped contribute to adding new catch-phrases to our pop-culture vernacular,” said Lauren Zalaznick, President of Bravo.

The episode premiering Thursday, August 18, will take an inside look at Bobby and Whitney Houston’s Atlanta and New Jersey homes. The season finale, premiering August 25, will take a behind the scenes look at favorite moments from the series.
