Paula Abdul made a cameo during a “Saturday Night Live” sketch that lampooned her woes as an “American Idol” judge. Abdul appeared at the end of the NBC show’s opening segment to criticize Amy Poehler’s imitation of her.
“You need to perfect the clap a little more and be a lot more sexier so contestants will be willing to sleep with you,” Abdul said before smiling and delivering the show’s iconic salutation, “Live from New York, it’s Saturday night!”
