Last year Raven-Symoné shocked her fans with a tweet that many interpreted to mean she had come out of the closet.
“I can finally get married. Yay Government! So proud of you,” Symone tweeted after Rhode Island legalized same sex marriage.
She later said the tweet was misinterpreted.
Over the weekend on Oprah Winfrey’s “Where Are They Now,” Winfrey questioned Symone about her gay marriage Tweet and she responded,
“I’m in an amazing relationship with my partner — a woman. My mother and people in my family have taught me to keep my personal life to myself as much as possible so I try my best to hold the fence where I can. But I am proud to be who I am and what I am.”
