Tavis Smiley has signed on to do a two-hour weekly show for Public Radio International beginning April 29.
Smiley recently quit his daily radio show at National Public Radio while criticizing them for not adequately reaching out to minority listeners.
The new show, which will feature such guests as Cornel West and J.C. Watts, will broadcast to over 700 affiliate stations in time for Friday evening shows with opportunities for repeats on weekends.
