Friday night wasn’t the only night popping in the Lou last weekend. Reno’s Toxic, St. Louis’ newest night spot, was hot to def. This set featured NBA hooper and homeboy Larry Hughes. Fellow b-ballers Allen Iverson and LeBron James were supposed to be in the house, but oh well, they weren’t in that house. But some celebs did fall through, including the king of our city, Mr. Cornell “Nelly” Haynes and of course his right hand (and left hand) man, Mr. Brian “Big B” Jones. Jahidi White, Detroit Piston Richard Hamilton, Darius Miles, Cory Spinks and Demetrius Alexander. Demetrius, an Oversees b-baller, also known as Stick, will have a going away party at 9 p.m., Thursday, August 25 at Plush. Free drinks from 9-9:30 p.m. Don’t forget Toxic this Friday.
