“Omarosa has this reputation for being a dragon-lady,” said former NFL star and St. Louis native Isaac Keys. “But you get to see a more emotional side to her during the show.”

Keys, a Hazelwood Central and Morehouse graduate who has played for the Minnesota Vikings and the Arizona Cardinals, is a contestant on TV One’s newest reality show, Donald J. Trump Presents the Ultimate Merger.

With a few challenging experiences in the football industry, Keys has retired from the NFL and begun freelance personal training, motivational speaking and stints in the entertainment business.

“It was really hard for me to leave football, but there was nothing in it for me anymore. I had to find something I was passionate about. I love the entertainment industry and being able to portray different characters,” said Keys.

Keys is reading a few film scripts and working on a play in addition to the reality show. The Ultimate Merger is a classier version of a Vh1 dating show, starring infamous Apprentice contestant, Omarosa.

The show follows 12 successful bachelors as they complete challenges in order to win over the tough, business savvy woman.

“I look for the kind of woman who’s confident, but who knows where her blessings came from,” Keys said.

Currently living in L.A., Keys could see himself returning to St. Louis to settle down with a wife and kids.

To see how far he gets with Omarosa, watch The Ultimate Merger every Thursday at 8 p.m. CST on TV One.
