As per usual, I made the 13 Black Katz Ritz Carlton takeover a part of my weekend’s lineup and I’m so glad that I did. I don’t have room to go into the who’s who that came through, but y’all know how they do. I was thrilled to see my girl Niecy Davis on the scene among them and the more than 1000 folks who made their way through. A big fur and some bling will indeed bring out the folks…and when you mix with the Black Katz, how could the party be anything other than poppin’?!?! I was also ecstatic to see “Strategic Planning for Love & War” authors Jo Lena Johnson and Steven Charles Martin in the building promoting their book. A little birdie told me to tell them to be lookin’ for a feature in the paper about the book in the very near future.
