Earlier today (Tues., Jan. 6), Georgia lawyers for LaShon Dixon, the mother of two of T.I.’s children, filed an $8,000 suit against the rapper for an attorney bill in a recent custody case.
The bill in question stems from a September case, in which the rapper was ordered to increase his monthly payments to Dixon from $2,000 to $3,000.
Dixon’s attorney, Randy Kessler, says the September case called for T.I. to pay related attorney fees by November 19, 2008.
T.I. (real name, Clifford Harris) and Dixon are still negotiating custody and child support of their two boys, ages 7 and 8, together.
The issue with the suit is from a clause in the child support agreement that calls for T.I. to pay for the boys’ private school tuition, uninsured medical bills and expenses related to the children’s extracurricular activities.
