Lil Wayne and Migos will deliver one of St. Louis’ last hip-hop shows of 2017 Friday night (December 29) at Chaifetz Arena. Billed as The Resolution, the show is presented by LooseCannon Ent. and also features local rap trio KiDGoalSs.
The show comes a few days after the release of Wayne’s “Dedication 6” mixtape. The 15-track mixtape is loaded with Young Money artists. Nicki Minaj, Gudda Gudda, Cory Gunz, Euro and HoodBaby all make appearances.
It was an incredible year for Atlanta rap group Migos thanks mostly to their monster hit “Bad and Boujee.” The song was produced by St. Louis native Metro Boomin and topped both the hip-hop and pop charts as one of the biggest hits of 2017.
Rapper/actor/director and “Atlanta” showrunner Donald Glover mentioned the song when he won the Golden Globe for “Best TV Series, Musical or Comedy.”
KiDGoalSs became viral sensations by raking up tens of millions of views on their YouTube channel – which currently has more than 250,000 subscribers.
The group of young girls wowed audiences as a featured act on the So So Def Summer tour and performed before a sold-out crowd for their first headlining show at The Pageant last month.
The Resolution will take place at 7 p.m. on Friday, December 29 at Chaifetz arena. For more information, visit http://thechaifetzarena.com/upcomingevents/details/?event_id=225
