As the culminating event for the 22nd Annual Robert L. Reed St. Louis Tap Festival, the organization will be presenting All That Tap XXII this Saturday night (July 27) at Washington University’s Edison Theatre.

The festival is a week-long event that educates, promotes and celebrates the American art form of tap dance and on Saturday night some of the best tap dancers in the world will grace the stage in St. Louis. Activities include master workshops, performances, tap jams, dances, a panel discussion, and more

Dance masters such as Professor Robert L. Reed, Robin Reed, Avi Miller and Ofer Ben, Dormesia Sumbrey-Edwards, Cathie Nicholas, DeWitt Fleming Jr., Logan Miller, Karen Callaway Williams, Denise Caston, Jenefer Miller, Jason Samuels Smith and Danny Wooten were among the participants of this year’s tap festival.

Every year the festival goes out with a bang thanks to All That Tap, and 2013 won’t be any different thanks to Callaway Williams – a celebrated Broadway performer who is the only African American who has danced among Broadway’s “Riverdance” troupe.

All That Tap XXII will take place on Saturday, July 27 at 7 p.m. at Washington University’s Edison Theatre (6445 Forsyth). For more information or to purchase tickets, visit http://www.tapheritage.org/allthattap.html
