According to the Atlanta Journal Constituation (ajc.com), Bishop Eddie Long and his attorneys have reached an out-of-court settlement agreement with his accusers. Long and his team expect all sexual misconduct charges to be dropped Friday.
Long and his church, New Birth Missionary Baptist Church and the LongFellows Youth Academy, were taken to court after the minister was accused of coercing four men, Maurice Robinson, Jamal Parris, Anthony Flagg and Spencer LeGrande, into sexual encounters.
Judge Johnny Panos recently (and accurately) described the court-ordered mediation as difficult but thought an agreement would soon be reached.
