A third “Rush Hour” is on the way.

Actor Chris Tucker said he and co-star Jackie Chan will film the next installment of their hit buddy-cop series this year.

“It will be my best movie,” Tucker said Tuesday while vacationing at Casa de Campo, a resort east of the capital of Santo Domingo.

The film was to be shot in Hong Kong and will open by early 2007, Tucker said.

“Rush Hour” (1998) and “Rush Hour 2” (2001) paired the fast-talking Tucker with the acrobatic Chan, finding huge success at the box office.

The original brought in more than $224 million and the sequel more than $347 million worldwide, according to the Box Office Mojo tracking service.

While in the Dominican Republic, Tucker met with friends, including Baltimore Orioles slugger Sammy Sosa.

Tucker said he was considering filming a movie in the Dominican Republic.
