A show starring El Debarge scheduled for Oct. 16 at Roberts Orpheum was cancelled, but St. Louis fans will still have a chance to see him showcase his classic falsetto voice. The 80’s R&B hit maker shut down the engagement to give him an opportunity to perform with the queen of hip-hop soul Mary J. Blige and her “Music Saved My Life Life” tour when it stops at the Fox Theatre that night.
DeBarge, Blige and newcomer Jazmine Sullivan will give audience a pleasant mix of R&B and soul for what will most certainly be a sold-out show.
Tickets will go on sale to the public at 10 a.m. on Wednesday (Sept. 22) and prices start at $50.
