The principal , dr. Hopper, and the school district of ferguson- florissant, made a judgement that the dynasty program should be discontinued in it’s mccluer north high school, as well as all of it’s other schools. This decision comes on the heels of us expanding the program to all of the highs schools, mccluer , mccluer south-berkeley, and it’s middle schools.

We where also giving no apparent reason for this decision, only that the district allows no outside help( people who do not work for the district, teachers, etc.) Anymore, to come in the school, after school or any other time. But when we investigated this rule it does not exist, nor does this rule apply to any other ” outsiders” who come to help the school’s gospel choir sing, or any other concerned ctizen who volenteer(exuse the spellings) to help it’s area schools with different activities. We consider this an apparent attack on black youth, and it’s voice and culture, hip-hop. Heres a program that allowed an students from its school, and youth from other schools rittenour, hazelwood central, just name a few, come learn about the positive effect of hip-hop, it’s business side, music side, dance side, its journalism side, it’s recording, and radio side, all while given them a healthy dose of self -worth, improvement , ethics and responsiblity. With not a violent incident ever, as well keeping the children’s grades up and getting some of them back in school, in exchange for studio time for there love of hip-hop. We, (dynasty, the millions more movement) the students, and the parents are mad as hell about this decision and wonder why there children have had somthing taking from, for no apparent reason, that made them more confident, and recpectful, for no apparent reason. I guess it’s like sumner’s principal randolph spencer said, when asked by students, and some faculty in his school to get dynasty hip-hop/ music mentoring program, “i don’t want hip-hop, and there will be no hip-hop in our school”. I guess he does’nt understand that our children, in they way they talk, act, and feel , is already hip-hop, but whose going to see to it that the positive side of hip-hop, is taught to them, i guess the negative side will do.
