Distinguished Concerts International New York City has invited St. Louis Symphony IN UNISON Chorus to participate in the performance of Mark Hayes’ Spirit Suite 1 and 2, as well as the Carnegie Hall premiere of Spirit Suite 3 next weekend.
“The St. Louis IN UNISON Chorus received this invitation because of the quality and high level of musicianship demonstrated by the singers,” said Dr. Jonathan Griffith, Artistic Director and Principal Conductor for DCINY. “These wonderful musicians not only represent a high quality of music and education, but they also become ambassadors for the entire community.”
They will perform along with some of the most renowned choristers within the national and international choral music community – and IN UNISON’s director Kevin McBeth will serve as a conductor for the performance and a clinician for a residency framed around Hayes’ Spirit Suite.
This performance is planned to take place on Sunday, June 17, 2018 in Isaac Stern Auditorium at Carnegie Hall. For more information, visit www.DCINY.org.
