The University City Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Maestro Leon Burke, III, will conclude its 50th season with a Young Artist Concert on Sunday, May 15 at 3 pm at COCA in the University City Loop.
William Schatzkamer Award winner Daniel Dickson will perform the third movement of Piano Concerto in A minor be Edvard Grieg.
The program will also feature a new composition by local composer Michael Blackwood titled “Delusions of Jesse James” as well as the Russian Easter Overture by N. Rimsky-Korsakoff.
The concert is free to the public and will offer a reception immediately following the program.
