St. Louis native P. Dub (formerly Pretty Willie, aka Willie Moore) performed live in St. Louis for the first time since his million-dollar label deal with Warner Bros. Music Group.

The rapper/crooner-turned-fulltime crooner lit Dreams (formerly The Kastle) up Sunday with his yet-to-be-released hit, “What You Sitting Down For?” and medleys from his first CD, “Enter the Life of Suella.”

The intimate 5 Spot crowd didn’t seem to mind that P. Dub didn’t bust any raps, but he did bring former rap mate Omaze on stage to rap up “Man at Home.”

The crooner’s upcoming CD is yet to be named and doesn’t have a release date.

P. Dub was the second artist and first national artist to perform at the new home of the 5 Spot, a weekly event that features house band, Level Ground. The band gets two to three days to practice guests artists.
