In a surprising move, producers for the much anticipated Tupac biopic are taking their search for the starring role to the web for what they are calling “In Search of Tupac.”
Morgan Creek Productions and Skee.TV/Karmaloop.TV are holding an online casting call for the highly-anticipated motion picture “Tupac,” based on the life of the legendary icon Tupac Shakur, produced by James G. Robinson, David Robinson and LT Hutton, directed by Antoine Fuqua.
The audition process includes:
1. Download the scene that is to be performed.
2. Read the scene on-camera. Only the individual submitting the scene should appear in the video.
3. Perform your favorite Tupac song/rap on camera. Please limit your song rendition to 1 minute.
Submissions are being accepted through 11:59pm on April 30th, 2011. To download a particular scene and upload online audition submissions, visit http://insearchoftupac.skeetv.com/
