The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has officially announced Streetballers as one of only 274 films eligible for the 2009 Oscar Race!
As of December 2009, Streetballers has premiered in Saint Louis, Los Angeles and Kansas City. According to Variety, Streetballers cracked the top ten in the U.S for weekend per-screen average (out of 120+ films) on two separate occasions during the Saint Louis and Los Angeles premieres.
Future cities include Dallas (for NBA All-start weekend), NYC, Atlanta, Miami, and Chicago.
