Academy Award-nominated actor Michael Clarke Duncan is still under close watch after going into cardiac arrest last Friday morning.
According to several reports, Duncan is in the intensive care dependent on a respirator for breathing.
Urban celebrity and entertainment news site Eurweb.com says that despite the slow progress, doctors are optimistic about his recovery since determining that he has a “very strong heartbeat.”
Eurweb.com also says that Duncan’s girlfriend, Omarosa Manigault saved his life when she performed CPR until help came. Paramedics arrived to his Woodland Hills, Calif. home 40 minutes after the 911 call, getting him to the hospital around 2 a.m.
