Nominations for the 2015 NAACP Image Awards were announced on Tuesday.

Leading the way for this year’s major awards are Janet Jackson, Creed star Michael B. Jordan, The Weeknd, the cast of “Empire,” musician and Voice coach Pharrell Williams, and producer Shonda Rhimes, who snagged noms not just for her ABC shows Scandal and How to Get Away With Murder, but also for her inspirational memoir, Year of Yes.

St. Louis based reality show “Welcome To Sweetie Pies” is also once again in the running for an “Outstanding Reality Program” award. The OWN network series captured the award back in 2013.

The 47th Annual NAACP Image Awards will air live on February 5 with previous host Anthony Anderson will resume his duties at this year’s event.
