The return of “Nick Cannon Presents: Wild’N Out” on Tuesday was the highest rated show in the 17-year history of MTV2, the network announced.

The 11 p.m. debut of the rebooted improv comedy competition show pulled in a 1.3 rating and 1.1 million viewers, topping MTV2’s previous top-rated telecast, a February episode of “Guy Code” that garnered a 0.6 rating.

MTV2 announced in November that it was launching a new incarnation of Wild’N Out. The Cannon-created, -produced and -hosted series ran on MTV from 2005-07. With “Wild’N Out” as its lead-in, new series “Ain’t That America With Lil Duval” debuted as MTV2’s second-highest-rated show ever with a 0.9. The viral-video show pulled in 800,000 viewers.
